Hostels | Beautifully situated lighthouse dating from 1895. There are light keepers cottages nearby, which are rented by the local historical society (Hembygdsföreningen) and provide hostel accommodation for visitors to the island.
Approx. 3km from the ferry landing in Byviken. 20-30 beds in sturdy bunk beds. Simple, but very charming and peaceful. Well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Small row boat available. We recommend that you bring your own bike on the ferry from the mainland. Bicycles can also be hired from Hamnkrogen in Byviken, tel: +46 (0)90 55111. Drinking water is provided in plastic containers. Outdoor source-separation toilet. Beds at the youth hostel can be booked at other times by agreement. The ferry to Holmön is free.
Open between may - september.
